A new bathroom upstairs, a new toilet downstairs

The situation

The property originally did not have a bathroom in this location. The space was part of the residential area and needed to be completely transformed to accommodate a new bathroom. At the same time, the clients wanted to remove the existing bathroom on the ground floor, allowing the living room and kitchen area to be expanded and better integrated.

The brief

The clients' main goal was to create a full bathroom on the second floor, making the layout of the house more practical and functional for everyday use.

The approach

Creating the new bathroom required building almost the entire space from scratch. The project included constructing new walls, installing a new door and ceiling, and carrying out all the plumbing and electrical infrastructure required for the new bathroom. Underfloor heating was also installed to provide additional comfort, while the entire space was properly prepared for the bathroom finishes and installations. As part of the overall reconfiguration of the house, a new toilet was also created on the ground floor. This replaced the function of the previous bathroom and allowed the former bathroom area to be incorporated into the living room and kitchen.
